Bench Marque Office Furniture

Different

Different is an award-winning integrated marketing company with offices in London and Newcastle.

The agency’s client roster boasts major names like L’Oréal and Procter & Gamble, so it is vital that their headquarters project an appropriate corporate image.

Having first gone into business in 1999, by 2006 the agency had already outgrown existing offices, a Victorian townhouse, and was looking for more space.

They invested in a 10,000 sq ft former synagogue in central Newcastle and set about converting it into a state-of-the-art creative hub.

Bench Marque was appointed to act as key consultant on this ambitious project. We scheduled essential building work and then appointed and managed a series of contractors with the key strategic aim of controlling and lowering costs.

The building was stripped back to bare brick and fully rewired. New ceilings, lighting and a sophisticated alarm system were installed; it was then decorated, inside and out, with a comprehensive fit-out that included new glazed partitions and laminate flooring. All this was delivered within extremely demanding budgetary considerations.

Once the company had approved the major works, Bench Marque then supplied new desks, seating and storage that perfectly complemented the creative and stylish commercial environment we had helped create. These included custom-made meeting room furniture, soft seating for break-out areas and a media wall.
